Learning outcomes

The teaching introduces the students to educative, clinical and nursing aspects for children and family, pregnant and post-delivery woman or with reproductive apparatus’ diseases.

Program

- Physical and functional characteristics of the newborn at term and neonatal screening
- Psychomotor development and growth
- Auxometric parameters (range based on age, percentiles)

Clinical peculiarities and diagnostic hypotheses in pathologies
- gastroenteritis
- urinary tract infections
- bronchiolitis
- pneumonia
- allergy and asthma
- thermoregulation system in the newborn and in the child and febrile convulsions
