Learning outcomes

To know the basic anatomy of the central nervous system, the mechanisms of excitability and synaptic transmission, the sensory systems (somatosensory system and pain, visual system, auditory system and balance, chemical senses); to integrate the knowledge of nervous and endocrine mechanism of regulation and signalling.

Program

Physiology of excitable membranes, synaptic transmission, sensory systems and neuroendocrine integration, on the basis of the anatomical organization of the nervous system.
