Learning outcomes

Overview of advanced information systems from a logical and technological point of view.
Use the technology associated to information and communications as a valuable support to diagnostic and therapeutic preventive and rehabilitative practices, recognizing also the limits.

Program

Information and its representation with digital data. Binary logic and circuits. Computer architecture.
Server advanced architectures: RAID technology, business continuity, backup, disaster recovery.
Hospital Information Systems (HIS) architecture.
EHR. The example of Gecos at AOUI Verona.
