Drug-receptor interactions and the quantitative aspects of actions of drugs; terminology, general principles of drug effect(s) evaluation; principles of clinical studies including monitorig of adverse reactions. Pharmacokinetics: general principles and issues relevant to understand the significance of drug plasma level monitoring for appropriate therapy. Absorption, distrinbution, metabolism and elimination of drugs: critical terminology and parameters.
