Learn the conceptual basis of drug mechanisms of actions in order to understand how physio-pathological events in patients can be modified by therapeutic approaches and how drugs and physiotherapy may interact on a same subject

Drug-receptor interactions and the quantitative aspects of actions of drugs; terminology, general principles of drug effect(s) evaluation; principles of clinical studies including monitorig of adverse reactions.
Pharmacokinetics: general principles and issues relevant to understand the significance of drug plasma level monitoring for appropriate therapy. Absorption, distrinbution, metabolism and elimination of drugs: critical terminology and parameters. Modification of drug pharmacokinetics due to diseases, drug interactions, nutrients and genetics,
Drugs acting on neuromuscular junction; drugs acting on central control of muscle: BDZ
Anti-inflammatory drugs both steroidal and non-steroidal: mechanisms of actions, classes, therapeutic and adverse effects
