Learning outcomes

Know the concept of “multidimensional geriatric assessment” and apply the competence assessment tools on adequate and personalized reactivation interventions. Provide the principles of rehabilitation, with attention to the role of the physiotherapist in the geriatric team. Provide tools for the observation, functional and cognitive assessment of the elderly patient suffering from organ and system pathologies, to formulate a "rehabilitation program" project based on the residual resources of the elderly and preventive against the hypokinetic syndrome.

Examination Methods

Delivery of a review of the literature on a topic among those exposed in class. The student will be responsible for concluding the review with a critical analysis and personal opinions on the topic.
The evaluation will be given taking into account the student's ability to research, analyze and critique and draft the report according to the criteria presented in class
