Learning objectives
Professionalizing laboratories are essential learning experiences that anticipate clinical training. The objective of this first year is to offer students the opportunity to experiment in applying the acquired knowledge and theoretical principles, in a safe and controlled environment. The course aims to lead the student to the observation and evaluation of videotaped cases, to develop his critical thinking. Work is carried out on observational reports in small groups, in a protected environment, simulating the direct experience that will be realized later in the internship experiences.
Program
● Acquisition of the main theories underlying normotypic development in childhood;
● Acquisition of the fundamental stages of the childhood development, with particular attention to speech and language development;
● Analysis of videotaped cases;
● Compilation of observation grids.
Didactic methods
Lessons and laboratory activities are held in person to encourage participative didactics and interaction between students through individual and small group activities.
Learning assessment procedures
Written test consisting in 30 multiple choice questions.
Evaluation criteria
1 point will be assigned to each correct answer.
In case of wrong answer or lack of response, 0 points will be assigned.
The test will be considered as successfully passed with a score of at least 18/30.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The vote is expressed by an ELIGIBLE or NOT ELIGIBLE result.
