This seminar provides PhD students with a comprehensive overview of the main research methodologies in psychology. Through practical exercises, starting from a bibliographic search of scientific articles, students will attempt to identify the methodologies applied in these studies. The goal is to learn how to recognize the main methodologies that have been covered in the course on research methods in psychology.

Prerequisites and basic notions

The course is the last stage of the path planned for the field of psychology, which includes the following meetings:

Research design (between subjects, within-subjects and mixed designs) (Elena Trifiletti)
Research design: two/three-waves and longitudinal designs (Elena Florit)
Physical measures and psychological measures (Roberto Burro)
