Learning objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING in-depth knowledge of the economic and business dynamics of social work organizations, their management and evaluation ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ability to manage and manage problems related to human resources decision-making ability in complex organizational situations. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES The course aims to offer students a reading of the main organizational models that have been applied in the past and which are still used today by companies and administrations in various business contexts. Specifically, the course will deepen the theories and management models of Human Resources from the dawn of classical theories to the discovery of the human, group and motivation. Further reflection will be offered with the analysis of marketing and customer satisfaction in services in order to stimulate students to develop an attention to the users with whom they could compete in both private and public bodies. The theoretical analysis will be completed by an application part dedicated to the analysis of case studies and research applied in different sectors.

Course contents Work organization: The organizational question: definitions and problems; Archetypes of modern organizations; Organizational rationalism: the beginnings of organizational thought - classical school (Weber, Fayol, Merton, etc.); Fatigue, industrial monotony, efficiency and productivity; The scientific organization of work - The classical job-analysis (Taylor, Ford, the Gilbreth spouses, etc.); The crisis of classical models and the movement of human relations (Mayo, etc.); Socio-technical systems; The man-machine-environment models (ergonomics); The theory of bounded rationality (H. Simon); Organizational behavior; The conflict; Groups in organizations (Bass, Lewin, Likert, etc.); Cooperation, collaboration, competition (interactive and operational efficiency); Organizational change and resistance; Decisions (decision making): heuristics and human errors; Group decisions and pressures; Human resource management; Cases and experiences Management and organizational dysfunctions: the case of mobbing, harassement and persecutions in the workplace. Stress, Coping, Bullying. Mobbing and its forms. Seminar activities are planned in-depth study of the various issues addressed.

Learning assessment procedures
The exam consists of two written parts, one relating to the manual (multiple choice test) and one relating to the monographic part, i.e. on the MOBBING text (multiple choice test or open questions - chosen by the teacher)
Erasmus students: oral form to be agreed with the teacher
Evaluation criteria
The mark out of thirty will consist of the scores obtained by adding the part relating to the manual (maximum 20 points) and the part relating to the monographic course (maximum 10 points)
