Russian Linguistics (2022/2023)

Learning objectives
The course aims at providing in-depth knowledge on issues related to theoretical and applied linguistics, with a peculiar focus on the Russian language. By the end of the course, students will: 1. know the salient aspects of Russian linguistics and the main theoretical frameworks used to analyse them; 2. know how to apply specific knowledge in the fields of theoretical linguistics, second language acquisition and language teaching; 3. develop independent judgments on the main topics of the course and express them in a coherent and correct way.
Prerequisites and basic notions
In order to successfully attend the course, it is necessary to hold fundamental knowledge of theoretical and applied linguistics, and to command terminology of morphosyntax. The knowledge of the Russian language is not required.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final mark is expressed in thirties. It is the sum of the marks obtained in the two modules of the course, i.e., part 1 (20/30) and part 2 (10/30).
