Contenuto del corso: THE IMAGINARY
Our philosophical tradition has been very questioned about the status of the imagination, given mostly as an intermediate option between perception and concept. In contemporary philosophy, the casting imaginary term, which indicates a greater focus on the products of the imagination, to the repertoire of images, myths, symbols and poetic creations of the imagination produces. The exploration of the imagination is crucial in our time, because today we are constantly threatened by a sense of unreality, and at the same time it is important to give space to those representations which, although foreign to the pure rationality, however, express our deepest instincts . The course will consist of an exploration of some imaginary conceptions in the history of contemporary philosophy.
