Learning outcomes
The reading of Song of Songs shall be taken by means of philological and historico-comparative analysis. Parallel to this reading shall be placed side by side an historiographic interpretation of this classical biblical Text’s reception in historico-religious studies (Christianity and Hebraism ) and in Western cultural debates.

Course content:
From the Song of Songs to El Cantico Espiritual. Exegesis and Mysticism of biblical Text in historico-diachronic perspective.
