Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Classes in History of medieval philosophy aim to equip students with in-depth knowledge of some of the most important topics of the philosophical reflection of the Middle Ages. In doing so, the course will privilege a dialogical stance towards the main philosophical issues of our time. By the end of the course, students are expected to possess a sufficient knowledge of all the subjects addressed during the lessons, a sufficient capacity to critically read the texts, and finally, sufficient communication skills that will enable them to critically master and express the concepts acquired and/or elaborated during the course, by means of using a correct and sophisticated philosophical language.

Examination Methods
Obiettivi della prova di accertamento: la prova d'esame mira ad accertare che lo studente abbia raggiunto gli obiettivi formativi: conoscenza delle tematiche trattate, capacità di lettura critica, padronanza dell'apparato concettuale, possesso di un linguaggio filosofico corretto e sofisticato.
Contenuti: la prova orale riguarderà gli argomenti del programma e, nel caso dei non frequentanti, gli argomenti eventualmente concordati; coloro che sceglieranno di presentare una tesina la discuteranno durante la prova orale alla luce degli argomenti trattati nel corso.
Modalità di accertamento: orale; eventuale presentazione e discussione di un elaborato scritto.
Modalità di valutazione: la modalità d'esame è orale sia per i frequentanti che per i non frequentanti.
