Learning objectives

The course, which is completely held in German, is aimed at analysing authors, literary movements and texts of German literature from the 18th Century to Romanticism. At the end of the course students will be able to approach the texts from an intermedial and intercultural perspective and to properly express their knowledge in German language.

The course is held in German and is aimed at analysing Christoph Martin Wieland’s travel accounts and artworks descriptions published on his magazine Teutscher Merkur (1773-1810).

Learning assessment procedures

Oral exam lasting an average of twenty minutes to be taken in German.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Ability to understand and analyze the literary texts and the critical essays of the programm. Vote in thirtieths.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

Arithmetical mean of the two parts of the programm.
