Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Health Law and Economics (2019/2020)

Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide basic knowledge of the normative references and applications of labour law in the public and private sphere, and administrative law in public administrations, with particular reference to the National Health Service; to provide knowledge and skills for the analysis and assessment of population health needs and the management of health services from an organizational and economical business perspective. ADMINISTRATIVE AND HEALTH LAW The course aims to acquire knowledge about the subjects and activities in public administrations, agreements, procedures and the protection institutes with particular reference to the efficient operation of the National Health Service. LABOR LAW The course aims to provide the fundamental notions of labour law applied in the private and public sector by providing the tools to identify and consult the normative sources, jurisprudential pronouncements and administrative acts required for implementation. HEALTH ECONOMICS The course aims to understand the importance of the economic and business determinants in health management and the critical role of technical professionalism. HEALTH PROGRAMMING The course aims to increase the knowledge of the nature of complex systems and health services, and the management and relationships in the processes involving care networks; to provide the tools to define and develop profiles and budgets; to increase the knowledge of clinical risk management and patient safety, using practical and theoretical approaches (i.e. scenarios and simulations); to acquire methods and tools to deal with complications in healthcare organizations; to recognize the different phases in the healthcare planning cycle - needs, demand and supply. PUBLIC HEALTH The course aims to provide the instrumental tools to analyze population health needs, data collection and data evaluation.

Attività seminariali/a scelta dello studente
La Commissione Didattica organizza l'offerta di attività didattiche opzionali, realizzabili con lezioni, seminari, corsi interattivi a piccoli gruppi, tirocini fra i quali lo studente esercita la propria personale opzione, fino al conseguimento di un numero complessivo di 6 CFU.
Le attività formative a scelta dello studente si concludono con un esame, che, in quanto tale, concorre al completamento delle certificazioni di profitto requisito per accedere all'esame finale.
Il materiale didattico relativo alle suddette attività didattiche saranno messe a disposizione nello spazio moodle riservato allo stage.
