Clinical and organizational progress in rehabilitation context (2018/2019)
The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
------------------------
MM: PROGRESSI IN AMBITO DELLE NEUROSCIENZE
------------------------
Acquire basic knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system Acquire the basic knowledge of the main neurological syndromes and what interventions are of the utmost rehabilitative competence
------------------------
MM: PROGRESSI ORGANIZZATIVI NEI PERCORSI DIAGNOSTICO-RIABILITATIVI
------------------------
Allow the student to obtain an adequate understanding of the issues surrounding riablilitative diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. To this end, it will refer to physiology notions of nervous-muscle-joint systems, neurology and neuro-pathophysiology, emphasizing the aspects of greatest relevance rehabilitation. Provide the student with the same elements for the programming of a rehabilitation intervention in the most common neurological diseases
------------------------
MM: TECNOLOGIE INFORMATICHE IN RIABILITAZIONE
------------------------
Know the new technologies at the service of rehabilitation. To know the equipment and the systems of analysis, monitoring and ergonomic configurations and housing for people with motor, cognitive and psychic disabilities
------------------------
MM: PIANIFICAZIONE E CONDUZIONE DELLE REVISIONI SISTEMATICHE E LINEE GUIDA IN AMBITO RIABILITATIVO
------------------------
• Offer to the student the bases to critically read systematic and narrative reviews, guidelines and consensus conferences • Provide the basis for setting up a literature review
Program
------------------------
MM: PROGRESSI IN AMBITO DELLE NEUROSCIENZE
------------------------
Anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system with particular attention to: - pyramidal paths - extrapiramidal routes - pathways of superficial, proprioceptive, thermal and painful sensitivity, - skull nerves Neurological semeiotic Outbreaks of central and peripheral nervous system disorders: -Multiple sclerosis -Parkinson's disease and motion disorders -Alzheimer's and dementia -Epilepsy and Disturbances of consciousness - Muscular diseases -CNS circulatory disorders
------------------------
MM: PROGRESSI ORGANIZZATIVI NEI PERCORSI DIAGNOSTICO-RIABILITATIVI
------------------------
Clinical evolution and disabling aspects of the most common neurological diseases. Disorders of cognitive functions and consequent disability Interactions between congnitive and motor dysfunctions. Psychological disorders associated with neurological diseases and potential interactions with the rehabilitation plan. Pathogenesis of dysfunctions resulting from injuries at different levels of the central and peripheral nervous system. How a neurological deficit (I.e. strength, somatic-sensation deficit) interferes with movement control. Bases of the most recent neurorehabilitative therapeutic approaches
------------------------
MM: TECNOLOGIE INFORMATICHE IN RIABILITAZIONE
------------------------
Needs of the person with cognitive-motor disability and psychiatric disability at home. Domotic and robotic assistance systems for cognitive-motor and psychiatric disability. Remote monitoring in home rehabilitation: tele-rehabilitation systems.
------------------------
MM: PIANIFICAZIONE E CONDUZIONE DELLE REVISIONI SISTEMATICHE E LINEE GUIDA IN AMBITO RIABILITATIVO
------------------------
EVIDENCE BASED MEDICINE AND CLINICAL TRIALS • CLINICAL TRIALS AND THEIR APPLICATION IN REHABILITATION, PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE CONTROL GROUP AND TO THE BLINDING, • REVISION OF THE LITERATURE: NARRATIVE REVIEWS AND SYSTEMATIC REVISIONS, META-ANALYSESS • SYSTEMATIC REVIEWS AND META-ANALYSES: PROBLEMS AND PECULIARITIES IN REHABILITATION. CRITICAL READING OF META-ANALYSIS • DIAGNOSTIC AND THERAPEUTIC GUIDELINES: CRITICAL READING OF SOME GUIDELINES IN REHABILITATION AND SPECIFIC PROBLEMS OF THIS FIELD • THE METHOD OF THE CONSENSUS CONFERENCE: LIMITS AND BENEFITS IN REHABILITATION. • THE ROLE OF EVIDENCE BASED MEDICINE IN REHABILITATION: CONCLUSIONS AND CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF CURRENT LITERATURE.
