Learning outcomes

Allow the student to obtain an adequate understanding of the issues surrounding riablilitative diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. To this end, it will refer to physiology notions of nervous-muscle-joint systems, neurology and neuro-pathophysiology, emphasizing the aspects of greatest relevance rehabilitation.
Provide the student with the same elements for the programming of a rehabilitation intervention in the most common neurological diseases

Program

Clinical evolution and disabling aspects of the most common neurological diseases. Disorders of cognitive functions and consequent disability Interactions between congnitive and motor dysfunctions. Psychological disorders associated with neurological diseases and potential interactions with the rehabilitation plan. Pathogenesis of dysfunctions resulting from injuries at different levels of the central and peripheral nervous system. How a neurological deficit (I.e. strength, somatic-sensation deficit) interferes with movement control.
