Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the characteristics of the various home oral hygiene protections and the correct methods of using them in order to be able to recommend the most suitable tools and products to each patient to provide personalized information for maintaining good oral health.
The course also aims to introduce the students to know the tools for the correct compilation of the patient's medical record through the research of periodontal health indexes.

-tools for home oral hygiene: characteristics and methods of use
- mouthwashes and toothpastes: which advise on the base of the characteristics of single patient
- the medical record: medical anamnesis, dental anamnesis, inspection intra and extra oral
- periodontal probes
- periodontal record: what it's for and how to note the different periodontal index
