Learning outcomes

The main aim of this course is to study the history of the Italian literature referring to a definite literary genre, by analysing directly its most representative authors.

Analytical reading of the text; lessons setting text against its historical and cultural background; intertextual perspectives, etc.

Other didactic materials and bibliographical references will be given during the lessons. Introductions and appendixes being part of the program, students are requested to make use of the editions listed in bibliography.
Outlines of lessons, notes and other didactic materials will be brought in the digital platform “e-learning”: every student is due to consult it regularly also to have notices concerning the course and the organization of the lessons.

Examination Methods

The oral examination evaluates a student’s overall preparation and the direct knowledge and analysis of texts.
