Prova di ammissione scritta e successivo esame orale (solo per chi ha superato la prova scritta), da sostenersi nella medesima sessione d'esami, anche nell’ambito di due diversi appelli. La prova d'ammissione verterà soprattutto sulla parte generale; il colloquio orale sulla parte monografica e sulle letture di approfondimento. Per sessioni d’esame si intendono: 1. La sessione autunnale (settembre) 2. La sessione invernale (gennaio-febbraio) 3. La sessione estiva (giugno-luglio)

Modalità di esame: Prova di ammissione scritta e successivo esame orale (solo per chi ha superato la prova scritta), da sostenersi nella medesima sessione d'esami, anche nell’ambito di due diversi appelli. La prova d'ammissione scritta, costituita da quattro domande aperte (una sulle dinamiche sociali e istituzionali dell’età moderna e una ciascuna sui tre secoli oggetto di studio), verterà soprattutto sulla parte generale e sulla conoscenza dei principali fatti storici accaduti nei secoli XVI-XVIII, nonché sul loro inquadramento storiografico (ossia sulle differenti interpretazioni possibili di ciascuno); la prova scritta è tesa ad accertare la conoscenza della storia generale e la capacità dello studente di applicare schemi logico argomentativi alle diverse problematiche proposte. Il colloquio orale verte invece sulla parte monografica e sulle letture di approfondimento e mira ad accertare la capacità dello studente di leggere criticamente un libro non limitandosi al riassunto, ma individuandone le implicazioni storiografiche (che è l’autore, da quale formazione proviene, su quali fonti si fonda la sua ricerca, quali le sue tesi interpretative). La prova orale è volta anche a verificare. - La proprietà di linguaggio - Le capacità analitiche e argomentative - La capacità di effettuare collegamenti fra temi diversi - La capacità di formulare nuovi problemi a a partire dalle letture effettuate Per sessioni d’esame si intendono: 1. La sessione autunnale (settembre) 2. La sessione invernale (gennaio-febbraio) 3. La sessione estiva (giugno-luglio) Non si prevedono differenza di approccio all’esame fra studenti frequentanti e non frequentanti.
