Program

The course is composed of various topics that make up pathological addictions will be addressed: - what addictions are - how addiction works
- psychiatric comorbidities
- neurodevelopmental disorders comorbid to addictions
- a focus on THC, alcohol, tobacco, benzodiazepines, internet addiction, and cocaine
- prevention of addictions
- the role of the residential community in treatment

Didactic methods

The teaching methods adopted consist of frontal lessons, presentation of clinical cases, and periodic summaries through questions. Throughout the academic year, an individual reception service is available, during flexible hours, by appointment requested by email.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam will take place with an oral interview aimed at verifying the knowledge of the topics of the program and the ability to explain the contents of the topics with the correct language.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

the evaluation out of thirty will be considered positive for values equal to or greater than eighteen.
