Learning objectives

The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of analytical chemistry, of the chemical-analytical process and of the most widely used analytical-instrumental methodologies and techniques. Examination methods: Open written test.
To pass the exam, students must demonstrate that:
-they have acquired the fundamental notions of analytical chemistry;
-possess the tools to be able to critically evaluate both the experimental results obtained and those reported in the case studies also statistically and chemometrically;
-achieve a global vision of the analytical process, starting from the choice of the method to the elaboration of the results and of the types of analysis methods, clearly communicating their conclusions, as well as the knowledge and the rationale underlying them.
