Learning objectives
The course is aimed at making students know and learn the main concepts of the historical-cultural, normative and scientific-methodological evolution of psychiatric care.
The main aim is to know:
-psychiatric epidemiology
-the general aspects of the nosography and classification of mental disorders
-the main etio-pathogenetic+ models, with particular reference to neurobiological models (applied neuroscience)
-semeiology, psychopathology of psychiatric disorders and psychiatric aspects of physical illnesses
-the main evidence-based psychopharmacological treatments
- new therapeutic approaches (neurorehabilitation and brain neurostimulation)
-the main models of psychotherapy
-general concepts of emergency psychiatry
PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES
The training objective of the exercises is to provide the student with direct knowledge of evidence-based practices of prevention, promotion and care in mental health field.
Examination Methods
The examination is an oral test aimed at assessing the knowledge of the contents of the course
Evaluation criteria
The test ascertains the level of knowledge of the theoretical contents, logical/deductive and synthesis skills, and thematic criticism skills. The final grade is given by the evaluation of the single test considered positive with a score equal to or greater than 18/30
