Learning objectives

At the end of the optional internship, the student should be able to critically evaluate what features make the chosen clinic or service different from those already attended, also with a view to the choice of thesis and/or subsequent specialization school.
In particular, the student should understand:
Which patients are most frequently admitted/visited/examined in the chosen department;
What their diagnostic process is;
What therapies are applied to them;
What their follow-up is.
What preventive interventions are applicable to them.

Examination Methods

There is no formal examination. Evaluation is by the clinical tutor.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Ability of the student to observe clinical activity by interacting with the tutor, patients and ward staff in an appropriate and purposeful manner. At the end of the internship, the tutor will simply make a judgment of suitability.
