Learning outcomes

The course aims to introduce students to the study of Greek and Latin philology.

Program

The first part of the course is an introduction to the concept of classical philology; The second part will focus on reading passages of Greek and Latin literature with attention to the tradition of the text and to its constitution.

Prerequisites: the basic knowledge to the classical languages is indispensable.
