Learning outcomes

The course introduces to a classic of modern philosophy with the aim of highlighting a set of systematic problems related to the philosophy of knowledge and to metaphysics.

Program

The problem of knowledge in John Locke's "Essay concerning Human Understanding". A critical-experimental approach to the issue of the ontological status of both the "outer world" and the "subject".
