Content of the course: art history from the early 15th century (Brunelleschi) to the early 19th century (Canova). Lessons will be dedicated to artistic phenomena of particular interest under a formal or methodological point of view.

Teaching methods: three lessons a week lasting two hours each. The general part is the same for students who attend the course and also for those who cannot. These last students are invited to be present at least at the first lessons to receive useful information for the preparation of the exam.

The four-year degree students must take both (i) and (p) parts of the course. They have to take the (p) part with professor Aikema.
