Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Principal aim of this class is to present European history of twenty century in a comparative and translation perspective. Main focus will be on European history after te end of WWI and on the development of totalitarian regimes during the '30. Starting from the end of IIWW, we will compare European history with political, cultural and social transformations regarding Africa, Asia, North and South of America areas.

Principal topic of this class are: 1) IWW and the European totalitarian regimes, 2)IIWW, 3) Cold War and international political and cultural struggle between USA and URSS, 4)decolonization and geopolitical transformations of international relations, 5)The "Sixty": revolutions, and dictatorship, 6) The crisis of American hegemony and the fall of Communism, 7) Europe and international relations after 1989, 8) Globalization.
