Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to define the concepts and determinants of health and illness, he knows the NHS, the approach to gender health, the concepts of caring and relationship in the care process. Recognizes the right to information and conscious choice. He knows the welfare process in clinical practice and the methods of assessment. recognizes the main organizational models of midwifery care.
It learns the process of care and the path of the patient in pre- and post-operative care, pain, the hydro-electrolyte balance and the basic concepts of nutrition.
