The course is designed to convey the notions of reproductive physiology, starting from the potential female and male fertility up to addressing all the potential problems of infertility. The aim is to understand what the mechanisms that lead to couple infertility can be and what the possible solutions are through medically assisted procreation techniques. Another issue that is addressed is that of the preservation of fertility, both in the field of benign and malignant diseases.
