Learning objectives
The main aim of this course is to enable students to adequately describe the skeletal system, the muscular system, the vascular system, and part of the peripheral nervous system (spinal nerves and autonomic nerves) using the proper terminology. The above systems' gross and microscopic anatomy will be provided, together with the appropriate morphofunctional links.
Prerequisites and basic notions
No prerequisites are required. Basic knowledge of Biology and Histology is required.

Learning assessment procedures
The oral exam will be divided into two interviews on different topics.
Evaluation criteria
Knowledge of body structures and acquisition of the constitutive concepts of the human body. A partial grade is given in the first interview. In the second interview, the questions are integrated, and the vote is finalized.
The exam will evaluate the correctness of the answers, the ability to use critical reasoning, the quality of the exposition, and the competence in the specialized vocabulary.
The grade is out of thirty; the maximum score is 30/30.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The student's understanding of the anatomical structure of the systems covered and their functional correlates will be assessed. The ability to describe and present the contents through a logical approach and an adequate use of anatomical terminology will also be assessed.
