Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide the basic knowledge useful for database management, the application of the main statistical methods and interpretation and comment of the results
Program
- Database and data entry
- Type and coding of variables with Excel functions
- Data quality control (tables and graphs)
- Descriptive statistics (univariate and bivariate)
- main measures of position and dispersion. Tables and graphs
- Interpretation of the results
Examination Methods
The final test is written and consists of some single or multiple choice questions. Furthermore, students will have to perform exercises in excel based on the course program regarding database management and data quality control.
