Learning objectives
Knowing how to assess the dynamics of growth and psycho-motor development of the child, describe the delays, disorders of language acquisition and the main systems of nosological classification of reference, for taking charge and planning the rehabilitation intervention MODULE LOGOPEDIA OF LEARNING DISORDERS Educational objectives: Knowledge of the main evolutionary and neuropsychological models related to basic school skills; Knowledge of the prerequisites of school learning; Definition and characteristics of DSAs: dyslexia dysorthography dyscalculia and dysgraphia Knowledge of the guidelines relative to the assessment and rehabilitation protocols of the DSA Indications for the rehabilitation treatment of the DSA MODULE OF LOGOPEDIA OF GENERALIZED DISTURBANCES OF DEVELOPMENT Educational objectives: The aim of the course is to provide the student with the knowledge about the symptomatological characteristics of the Autism Spectrum Disorder in the light of the new DSM 5 diagnostic manual, to know what role the Speech Therapist can take in the Rehabilitation Team of this disorder, understanding autistic neurodiversity and the related communicative-linguistic profile Finally, the student will be introduced to the main evaluation tools available to the speech therapist and will be accompanied to understand similarities and differences in the main rehabilitation methods. NEUROPSYCHIATRY MODULE OF LEARNING DISORDERS Educational objectives: Knowledge of specific learning disorders, their co-morbidities, the current legislation. Knowledge of the guidelines to carry out individualized rehabilitative and didactic interventions as well as to use compensatory tools and apply dispensatory measures. NEUROPSYCHIATRY INFANT MODULE Training objectives: To provide knowledge on brain maturation on psychomotor development and language, of the main pathologies in the field of child neuropsychiatry associated with speech development disorders. Discuss therapeutic speech therapy approaches (language, oral praxis, mastication, swallowing, etc.) depending on the specific morbid conditions. PEDIATRIC MODULE Training objectives: Understand and know how to evaluate the dynamics of growth and development of the child. Know the systemic pathology of the child and the main specialist pathologies.
