Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge of the treatment plan, the realization of the different types of fixed prostheses, with the application of materials and methods of the latest generation, such as the Cad-Cam system. The guidelines and implementation methods of the adhesive prosthesis applied to inlays and facets are also examined. The use of dummies exercises, and the clinical sequences realized in vivo, in mobile or fixed prostheses are the objective for the basic training of the student in prosthetic area. MODULE PRACTICAL ACTIVITY IN DENTAL PROSTHESIS Training objectives. The course provides the student with the necessary knowledge to set up an even complex treatment plan with fixed restorations on natural pillars. The theoretical lessons together with some practical exercises on extracted teeth allow to acquire the pillar preparation principles, the impression techniques and the phases of realization of fixed restoration. DENTAL PROSTHESIS MODULE Educational objectives. The course provides the student with the necessary knowledge to set up an even complex treatment plan with fixed restorations on natural pillars.
