Learning outcomes
Prosthodontic module provides the student with the knowledge and guidelines required to construct and place fixed and removable dental prostheses. Dental and occlusal analysis of stomatognathic system and temporomandibular joint’s (TMJ) functional study represent the key points of prosthetic clinical approach. By the end of this course, students will know the tools used for dental preparation and impression procedure in fixed rehabilitations. Students will be provided anatomical basis about different degrees of bone atrophy in edentulous patients and will know clinical workflows for partial or total dentures’ realization.
