Identities and Individuals – American Autobiographies and Novels
My course intends to discuss the problems of collective identities and specific artistic
individuation in this culture and literature through the analysis of narratives, plays and poems.
Examination Methods
The final examination requires the knowledge of American history, culture and literature especially of the XIXth and XXth century and the reading in English of the listed texts.
