Learning outcomes
The course is an introduction to the multimodal analysis and its application to the investigation of tourism advertising in English as global discourse. Exemplifying from tourism brochures and web pages in English, the course aims to illustrate the way multimodal semiotic resources are used as branding strategy, and their appeal to possible travelers.
Examination Methods
The exam consists of a an oral interview in English.
