Prof.ssa Tommasi
Prerequisites: knowledge of the history of modern philosophy
Course contents: The affection in the philosophy of the nineteenth and twentieth century.
The course, in addition to an overall picture of the history of philosophy of the nineteenth and twentieth century, will examine a number of particularly relevant affectivity analysis in this period: the analysis of Nietzsche's resentment, the emotional tone in Heidegger, the conception of the emotions of Sartre and the conception of love of Scheler. The affectivity analysis is particularly important in contemporary philosophy, in which we are seeing a re-evaluation of the emotions and the affective component over the prevailing rationalist paradigm in modern philosophy: while the rationale subject of modernity is required to keep the emotions as a brake disturbing factors, rather the contemporary subject is basically an emotional subject, aware of the importance of emotions in its openness to the world.
Texts: knowledge of the following authors: Fichte, Schelling, Hegel and the Hegelians, Feuerbach, Marx, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, the phenomenology (Husserl, Scheler, Edith Stein), Heidegger, Sartre.
NIETZSCHE, FRIEDRICH, Genealogia della morale, Adelphi, Milano 1992
HEIDEGGER, MARTIN, Essere e tempo, Longanesi, Milano 1976 o altra edizione: Mondadori o Longanesi), parte prima, capitoli quinto e sesto
SARTRE, JEAN-PAUL, Idee per una teoria delle emozioni, in L’immaginazione. Idee per una teoria delle emozioni, Bompiani, Milano 2004
SCHELER, MAX, Ordo amoris, Morcelliana, Brescia 2008
