Program
The relationship between publishing and readers, the evolution of the dynamics of access to content and the main issues of reading in today's society will be presented, also in the light of several recent quantitative data.
Specifically, the module will focus on the following topics:
• Trends in production and dissemination of knowledge in the 21st century;
• The "horizontal culture" paradigm;
• The book, the publishing industry and the digital challenge;
• Book production and reading in Italy;
• A “Countercyclical” trend in the publishing market?
• The transformations taking place and the stargate to cross;
• Impact of the pandemic on the publishing world and reading preferences;
• Trend analysis and interpretative hypotheses.
