Learning objectives
The aim of the course, in relation to the general aims of the Degree Course in Foreign Languages and Literatures, is to provide students with the essential skills to decode and contextualize the phenomena of the current global world, ie the basic knowledge of events and processes of transformation of political, social, eco-nomic and cultural structures from the beginning of the twentieth century to to-day. At the end of the course students will de-velop the ability to critically analyze long-term socio-cultural changes and will be able to reason in a diachronic key, placing events in their different temporalities.
