Learning objectives
The course is divided into the following modules: General and Applied Hygiene, Labour Law, Legal Medicine, Business Organisation, Sociology of Economic and Labour Processes, Statistics for Experimental and Technological Research
UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWING
- the principles of personal and community health; formulating the relevant objectives
- public health activities (surveillance, prevention, and health education) and health organisation from a legislative and economic perspective
- the main problems concerning occupational medicine
- the basic principles of forensic medicine, with particular regard to the tabular systems of civil invalidity and the prescription of hearing aids
- theories relating to the managerial organisational phenomenon within companies and in particular health care companies
KNOWING AND REMEMBERING
- the general bioethical, deontological, legal and medico-legal principles relevant to the performance of their profession
- the basics of health economics and organisation, labour laws
- the basics of the organisation of the profession with particular attention to the methods of market knowledge and user satisfaction
- the skills and abilities of planning, administration, direction and control that can be invested in the management of healthcare structures
Examination Methods
All modules will be assessed simultaneously in different sections of the semi-structured written examination (questions with multiple-choice answers, short exercises) to be completed in 90 minutes. Grading in thirtieths. It is possible to take the modules as in itinere examinations, reserving the General and Applied Hygiene module and the modules not yet taken for the final examination. The final grade, in thirtieths, will be the arithmetic mean
