Learning outcomes
The course aims at imparting the awareness and understanding of the legal framework regulating this area of law along with the capacity to engage with the decision making processes on which the planning instruments (both town and country planning) - involving economic activities - adopted by national and European Union territorial bodies are based. The course also aims at helping students gain an ability to analyse, contextualise and - based on suitable argumentation - resolve legal questions relating to these planning instruments and to gain a critical awareness of the impact on their content of changes to the institutional and social context.
